Our Story

InvestWise Academy was founded in 2018 by a group of finance professionals who recognized a significant gap in the Canadian investment education landscape. After years of working in various sectors of the financial industry, our founders were consistently approached by friends and family seeking guidance on investing. They noticed a pattern: most Canadians wanted to invest wisely but lacked the knowledge and confidence to do so effectively.

The founders observed that while there was plenty of investment information available, much of it was either too technical for beginners, not specific to the Canadian market, or produced by parties with conflicts of interest. They envisioned creating educational resources that would be accessible, unbiased, and specifically tailored to Canadian investors of all levels.

What began as a small collection of workshops in Toronto quickly expanded as word spread about their clear, practical approach to investment education. By 2020, InvestWise Academy had launched its first comprehensive online courses and guides, reaching Canadians across the country.

Today, InvestWise Academy stands as Canada's premier investment education platform, helping thousands of Canadians build wealth through knowledge. Our team has grown to include experts from various financial disciplines, but our mission remains the same: to empower Canadians with the investment knowledge they need to achieve financial confidence and independence.
